Version 12.0.349 – Patch 3

25 Feb 2026

Big things come in small patches. This one's lean, mean, and packed with fixes that'll make your day a little smoother, especially if you're in the redaction business.

What's New

  • Redaction Codes Now Speak Audio: Audio redaction clips now display the assigned redaction code in transcripts instead of generic placeholders. Your redacted audio isn't just quiet anymore — it's explaining itself.

  • Confidence Threshold for Object Detection: You can now adjust the detection confidence threshold directly in the Process modal. Fine-tune how aggressive or conservative object detection should be for more precise redaction results.

Enhancements

  • OCR Processing at Track Level: OCR recognition now operates at the video track level instead of the mashup level, improving accuracy for multi-track content and cutting down processing times.

  • Redaction Codes in Activity Reports: Redaction Activity Reports now include the redaction code details applied during processing, giving you a clearer audit trail.

Bug Fixes

  • For a while, redaction codes and PII address entities were giving each other the cold shoulder, refusing to play nice during auto processing. We’ve fixed it, so now they’re happily working together again.

  • Clicking Edit Summary on a playback page used to feel cramped and confusing. Now, it’s the right size and shows the correct field, making edits clear and comfy!

  • Previously, selecting a redaction class with a subtype only showed the parent class. Subclasses now display correctly because details matter.

  • Previously, updating settings in Studio without selecting a redaction code group would trigger a false error. That misleading alert is gone! What you see is now what you get.

  • Publishing a folder mashup in the Archive tier used to make content vanish into thin air. Now, your folders behave as expected, and everything stays exactly where you put it.

  • Opening Studio on content with a massive amount of detection data would make the browser freeze or crash entirely. We've optimized how Studio loads and renders detection data, so even the heaviest content stays responsive.

  • Videos without sound were accidentally skipping important PII checks. Now, even silent videos are fully scanned for visual and on-screen text data.

  • Trying to redact faces in a video that didn’t contain any (just cars or other objects) used to crash the workflow. Now, it simply skips the step with a log message and continues smoothly, no interruptions.

  • Some phone-recorded videos were getting stuck in processing limbo, causing the redaction pipeline to hang for hours. We’ve fixed the underlying issue, and now videos process reliably.

  • The Redaction Activity Report used to fail during CSV export because the “Redaction Codes” header was missing. We’ve added it back in, and reports now export smoothly without errors.

  • Videos with Cards and Surveys no longer freeze; Both overlays now work together smoothly.

  • For a while, Premium CAL users were getting a rude surprise: opening Redaction Settings sections they didn't have access to would still try to load, triggering error messages. We've fixed it, so now everything loads cleanly without unnecessary errors.
